I’m Rob Canfield — a small-business owner, firearms instructor, husband, and father who lives and works right here in New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District.
Like a lot of Shore families, my wife and I are raising kids while watching everyday costs climb higher: property taxes, insurance, energy bills, student-loan payments, and sky-high interest rates. Meanwhile, Washington keeps protecting banks, universities, and career politicians — and leaves regular families to figure it out on their own.
That’s why I’m running.
I believe your rights shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code or the mood in Washington. As a firearms instructor, I don’t just talk about the Second Amendment — I live it. Law-abiding citizens and veterans should be trusted, not treated like suspects, and our constitutional freedoms should never be negotiated away.
I’m also done with the debt traps crushing our kids and young families.
The college-loan system is rigged, credit-card interest has turned predatory, and too many institutions profit while families fall further behind. I support 0% interest on federal student loans, capping abusive credit-card APRs and junk fees, and forcing colleges to rein in tuition if they want access to taxpayer dollars — not “forgiveness,” but fairness.
At the core, this campaign is simple: guns, debt, prices, and kids.
Protect constitutional rights. Crush the debt racket. Lower the cost of living. Make it possible to raise a family, own a home, and retire at the Jersey Shore without being pushed out.
I’m not a career politician. I’m a neighbor who’s had enough — and who’s ready to fight for New Jersey families in Congress.
